They do break in as you wear them, but all the more reason to stick to the size you know is right and not size up. These look Victorian or even have a steam punk vibe, which is really fun. I’ve been eyeing these boots for a long time ago when they were on sale I was so happy. The problem was the tongue of the boot cut into the top of my foot when I walked. I tried to get a larger size and they were not available.
